Panzer Princess started in 2001 by Tank Hooker, but in the beginning things were going slow... Kelly had another band with higher priority and Alex was since the breakup of his and Tanks old band just driving around in american cars and drinkin... Tank & Simon LaRue who had join’d the band was the only one who was crazy enough to really care about thier in your face sleazerock at that time. Things still went slow until the day Tank met Kelly Morgue. Kelly had for a long time felt that Sweden Was missing a good sleazeband. Sir Alex (old friend of Tank who had been missing for several years) show'd up from nowhere, looking for a band again, and Panzer Princess was it! Now the band was ready to take on the world. Everyone in the band were old drinkin buddies, so they had no problems getting along and some crazy Weeks of drinking and Mayhem followed. They did some gigs on a band contest and a local mc-club but not much happend, beacuse no one in the band really knew how to get gigs, or kiss the right asses. But when they recorded their first demo Moonshine blues, the gigs started to come more often... Not pretty enough for MTV, not ugly enough for CBGB's |
